Conflict
The concept of conflict is one of the most prominent ideas that has emerged since the end of the Cold War. In my opinion, the conflict between "civilizations" is inevitable. But how can we change its tragic form?
I turn to new concepts through artistic experiences to depict scenes where humans compete for cosmic resources andwhere artists struggle with themselves through familiar art tools. An imaginary solution is to convert this loss into a game of chess. This project examines various possibilities that contribute to formulating solutions within the broad concept of conflict—a conflict that has plunged us into numerous wars: global, civil, and religious.
By asking a few questions, all visual productions will be inspired: What if we redefined the concept of battle or war to avoid the pain of loss? What if we entered a stage where war was conducted differently, like on a chessboard? If artwork is a reflection of human existence from the beginning, what is the image of human existence now? Can this existence resolve conflicts by introducing new tools for peace?
